Tyrone Malone; a real showman. Famous for securing a permit to freeze a 38 foot, 20 ton Sperm whale -- Putting it into the back of a big blue diesel truck, hauling all over North America and charging 35 cents to see it.

Little Irvy (the whale) and Old Blue (the truck) were only the beginning for Malone. Later, came the Super Boss & Bandit. Trucks so fast that they set two speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

After hooking up with Bandag Retreads as a primary sponsor, he became famous for a whole fleet of vehicles. The Hurricane, The Defiance, Smokey Bear Corvette, The Hideout Truck, Boss Truck of America, The Mama Truck and many, many more. Traveling all over the U.S., Canada and Europe, the name "Tyrone Malone" became world famous.

Collectors today know him from his Matchbox Cars and AMT models of his trucks. Others know him for the three children' books telling of his adventures.
